Life is worth....

 If a someone were to tell you that they would give you $10 million dollars no strings attached.  Would you take it?  I bet you would.  What if they told you that taking the $10 million dollars meant that you would not wake up the next day.  I'm sure that your answer would change if those were the terms.  Why is that?  Because you value your life more than $10 million dollars.  

Now if we took this anecdote and really applied it to our lives then we would value our time more.  If it truly were the case that we would not take $10 million dollars for the promise of waking up the next day then why do we value our time on this earth so little?  Why do you let people waste your time? Why do you not make the extra effort to spend more time with your kids?  Why do you spend so much time scrolling on social media?  If it we truly recognized the truth of our answer to that anecdote then we would realize that time is precious.  We would not waste more time working that dead end job.  We would not put off our dreams:  taking that trip, writing that book, starting that business.  What is holding you back? Everyday that you wake up there is an opportunity to be better and to do better.  You can truly optimize your time and become what you want to be and do what you want to do.  Each morning is a new opportunity-- one that based on your answer to the anecdote is more valuable than $10 million dollars. 

Not only is your time valuable but your life is valuable. How valuable you say? The price of the Blood of the Lamb. Did you know that you are so special that Jesus Christ took your sins and mine and nailed them on the Cross at Golgotha?  Being blameless he took on the sins of the world so that we could have a second chance (and a third and maybe a fourth even).  He placed a value on our lives that is truly priceless.  For everything else there's Mastercard (do you remember that commercial?).  So why dwell in the sin you're in?  Why keep living a life of a captive?  Jesus Christ came to save us from that bondage.  And whom the Son sets free is free indeed! All you have to do is believe in Him.  The Bible says that his mercies are new every morning.  Each day we have another chance to turn our lives around-- to free ourselves from the bondage of sin and the wiles of the enemy.  When you wake up its another opportunity to live the life that God has called you to live.

So with a life that is more valuable than $10 million dollars and full of freedom that is so highly priced but that cost you NOTHING, what are you doing living in mediocrity? There is so much more to life than going to sleep and waking up with the same worries and the same lack of hope.  There is so much hope and life in Jesus Christ.  There is a love that is true.  You don't have to chase money, or drugs or love because Jesus's love is the one that fulfills.  You are worth so much more and He proved it to you with the Cross.

Life is worth so much more than what this World offers.  There is no amount of money that can compare to life, especially life with Jesus!
